The Japanese stress-reduction and relaxation method reiki also aids in healing. It is applied by "laying on hands" and is based on the notion that an illusive "life force energy" passes through us and gives rise to our existence. A person's "life force energy" determines their ability to be well and happy. If it is low, they are more prone to become ill or experience stress.

I just wanted to give Karen Dorland a big thank you for a wonderful distance Reiki session-.I have not had a reiki session in a long time and I was curious about its affects. Wow, Karen was able to pinpoint where I had pain and tension and we did a lot of breathing into those areas and chakras. We were connected by video so that Karen could ask me questions and tell me where to put my hands...I was wonderfully relaxed while Karen worked on my chakras etc.
I had a past life memory come up and I felt like I was totally there-I was on a wooden ship A galleon ship and could smell the salt water and wet wood- when it was time for me to come back I felt relaxed and rested.
I will be coming back to Karen again for another session in a month. If you have ever wondered what a distance session is like I would recommend it.
